Romper La Matrix

Manifesto

The streets are ours too.

A person holds up a sign with both hands reading: fast fashion is slavery disguised as trend. Behind, the square and its trees.

Romper La Matrix is an invitation to give clothing back its meaning as identity, armour and speech of whoever wears it.

A counterproposal

Romper La Matrix is a counterproposal to the fashion week held at the Patio Olmos every year with the same luxury brands, offering flat designs and hegemonic models that uphold harmful beauty standards and push disposable consumption.

The body as canvas and shared territory.

The street: a bastard runway.

  • Three people dressed in black, in rock band t-shirts, hold a sign reading at Therapy Argentina, on a stone stairway.

Romper La Matrix is a collective, horizontal, non-profit creation. Its only aim is to make visible the creative force of Córdoba’s art scene.
